Being a fan of all kinds of art I was amazed when I heard about a Martin Luther King Jr. piece made from all different colors of a Rubik’s cube. I can’t even solve one cube but this guy has built a whole mural honoring Martin Luther King Jr. for Black History Month.
The piece itself is titled “Dream Big” and the artist Pete Fecteau spent 40 hours constructing this mosaic like piece. A total of 4,242 Rubik’s Cubes were used to make the 18′ 6″ x 9′ 8″ piece and weighing in at about half a ton.
This man Pete Fecteau is a genius for making this monumental piece of art and these are the type of artists that inspire us.
