CornerStore Hero

April 1st, 2008 | By Paul Andre

Just added to our spring 2008 line at Filthy Dripped!

In an environment of uniformed zombies and music video look-alikes, comes Corner $tore Hero; a new collection of urban street wear that overturns tradition and convention. Spring 2008 will bring forth a line, filtered through All-American 1950s ideals, that has a balanced mix of uncensored tragedy and comedic style.

The Spring 2008 line features white ring-spun combed cotton tees; such as, the Sonny tee with it’s comedic corner-store brawls in front of detailed backgrounds of poster-ridden-window graphic. The classic wool-boded leather-sleeve varsity jacket, the Roosevelt; has original twists of chenille and felt patches. A deep black heavyweight cotton fleece sweatshirt features a felt appliqué of the word HERO; is reminiscent of a 1950s batman skirmish text scene. And finally, its line of vintage-washed 5-pocket selvage jeans equipped with a full printed back pocket.

Corner $tore Hero clothing combines a style in line with the classic, 50′s-inspired street wear spirit (the dominant colors are black, white and red, with the inscription C$H” clearly visible). It confirms, in an informal way, the lively composure and quality of the All-American street wear style. With its in-depth research of 1950s lifestyle and ability to translate with out emulation; Corner $tore Hero brand will debut with much originality.

Swindl

March 28th, 2008 | By Paul Andre

Originally established as a platform for creative work, they’ve combined their love for Brooklyn and popular sensibility to push fresh products, ideas and visuals. Instead of following the trends, they moved in their own direction making a name for themselves primarily as women’s streetwear label. For them it’s all about maintaining a creative outlook and alays staying true to what they rep; a collective of young city talent out to get theirs.

Houndstooth Wars Official® Hats is an example of that staple pattern in fashion gone 8-bit, retro, blood thirsty, battle mode on a fitted. It’s a war out there and the hounds have been released. Black silkscreened invaders all-over with purple drips.
